Job Summary
The Financial Manager is fully responsible for managing and overseeing all financial, accounting, and cost control functions of the manufacturing facility. The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic financial planning. The position requires strong hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, Odoo ERP, and leadership of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Control
Full responsibility for the company’s financial operations and reporting.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor financial performance and provide management with analytical reports.
Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Control operating costs and improve financial efficiency.
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
Advise management on financial risks and strategic decisions.
Manufacturing & Cost Accounting
Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Monitor production costs, standard costing, and cost variances.
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement departments.
Analyze manufacturing margins and cost optimization opportunities.
Accounting Operations
Supervise general ledger, journal entries, and monthly closing.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions.
Review payroll accounting entries and provisions.
Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
ERP & Systems (Odoo)
Full ownership of accounting, inventory, and costing modules in Odoo ERP.
Ensure proper configuration and accurate data flow within Odoo.
Generate financial and management reports from Odoo.
Support ERP improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
Train and guide finance users on Odoo best practices.
Tax, Compliance & Regulatory
Ensure full compliance with VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements.
Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and authorities.
Prepare audit files and respond to audit queries.
Leadership & Coordination
Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.
Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure team development.
Work closely with senior management and department heads.
Support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
7–9 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
Mandatory experience in a manufacturing / factory environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Accounting & Inventory).
Solid knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and VAT.
Professional certification (CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is a strong advantage.
