Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Planning:

• Prepare shop drawing for all electrical system ( Lighting, Power Sockets,
Cable Tray/ Ladder, Fire alarm CCTV, Telephone, Data ) and panel board
schedule including single line diagram to get approval from consultant.
• Prepare As built drawing for all Electrical System.
• Conduct load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
• Develop BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications based on project requirements.

2. Procurement & Material Submittals
• Review and approve material submittals.
• Evaluate technical specifications of:
• Transformers
• Switchgear
• Panels
• Cables
• Lighting fixtures
• Fire Alarm System

• Participate in vendor selection and technical bid evaluation.
• Ensure materials meet project specifications and approved standards.

3. Site Supervision & Execution
• Supervise installation of electrical systems.
• Ensure work follows:
o Approved shop drawings
o Project specifications
o Safety procedures
• Monitor cable laying, panel installation, grounding systems, Power outlet, Cable tray and
lighting installation
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.

4. Testing & Commissioning
• Oversee testing procedures:
o Insulation resistance tests
o Continuity tests
o Load tests
o Functional testing
• Witness FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
• Ensure systems are fully operational before handover.
• Prepare commissioning reports.

5. Project Management & Documentation
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Estimate costs and support budgeting.
• Monitor project progress and timelines.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Maintain as-built drawings.
• Support project handover documentation.

6. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure electrical safety compliance.
• Implement lockout/tagout procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards.
• Investigate and report electrical incidents if any.

7. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
• Attend project meetings.
• Provide technical clarifications to clients.
• Support authority inspections and approvals.
• Assist in resolving post-handover defects during warranty period.
