Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Block Mason to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for laying concrete blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, partitions, and other structures according to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Lay concrete blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials accurately.
Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Mix mortar or grout and apply it properly.
Ensure alignment, leveling, and structural stability of masonry work.
Repair and maintain existing masonry structures.
Follow safety guidelines and company standards at all times.
Work effectively as part of a construction team.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Block Mason or similar role.
Good knowledge of masonry techniques and tools.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
