• Key Responsibilities

• Monitor plant performance, throughput, and downtime during each shift.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment availability.

Job Title: Ore Hauling & Fleet Supervisor
Job Summary
The Ore Hauling & Fleet Supervisor is responsible for supervising ore transportation from the stockpile or mining area to the crushing plant and controlling feeding activities to ensure the correct ore type, grade, and quantity are delivered according to the production plan. The role ensures safe hauling operations, proper coordination with the Geology Department, and continuous plant feeding to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hauling & Transportation Supervision
• Supervise daily ore transportation activities from the stockpile to the Jaw crusher.
• Monitor truck movement, loading, and dumping operations.
• Ensure safe traffic flow and compliance with site traffic management rules.
• Coordinate with equipment operators, including excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.
• Monitor truck cycle times and optimize fleet productivity and efficiency.
2. Feeding Control
• Control ore feeding at the crusher hopper to maintain continuous plant operation.
• Ensure the correct ore type (ore, sub-grade, waste, high-grade) is delivered as per plan.
• Prevent contamination and mixing of incorrect materials.
• Communicate with the Geology Department regarding ore grade, ore type, and feeding instructions.
• Ensure the plant is fed according to geological guidance and production requirements.
• Maintain proper records of ore source, grade, and daily feeding data.
3. Safety & Compliance
• Ensure safe operation of all hauling and feeding activities.
• Enforce PPE compliance and safe dumping practices.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
• Conduct toolbox talks for drivers and operators.
5. Reporting & Monitoring
• Record daily hauling quantities and feeding tonnage.
• Monitor fleet availability, utilization, and breakdowns.
• Submit daily operational reports to the Site Manager.
Requirements
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mining operations, hauling supervision, plant feeding, or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and material handling processes.
• Good understanding of ore grade control and coordination with the Geology Department.
• Good English communication skills (spoken and written).

• Good computer skills, including MS Excel and basic reporting systems.
• Ability to manage fleet operations in shift-based work environments.
