Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
1. Construction Quality Control & Inspection
- Conduct **Work Inspection Requests (WIR), Request for Inspection (RFI), and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Supervise and inspect formwork, steel reinforcement, concrete pouring, masonry, plastering, tiling, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Verify that construction activities align with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Control Checklists
2. Earthwork & Soil Testing Supervision
- Monitor excavation, backfilling, sub-base preparation, soil compaction, and grading to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee testing procedures, including Field Density Tests (FDT), Proctor Tests, and Plate Load Tests, to confirm soil stability.
- Ensure proper use of approved materials such as aggregates, sand, and geotextiles for earthwork applications.
3. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Implement Schedule Q, Project Quality Plan (PQP), and Project Quality Index (PQI) to ensure high-quality execution.
- Conduct periodic quality audits, site walkthroughs, and surveillance inspections to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards, including ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS, and Aramco specifications.
4. Material Testing & Approval Process
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing and verification, including:
- Concrete Testing: Slump test, compressive strength test, durability test.
- Steel Testing: Tensile test, bending test, welding inspections.
- Soil & Aggregate Testing: Sieve analysis, compaction test, and permeability test.
- Review and approve Material Approval Requests (MAR) to ensure the use of high-quality materials.
5. Non-Conformance Reporting & Corrective Actions
- Identify and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and implement Corrective Action Reports (CARs) to resolve site quality issues.
Core Skills & Certifications:
✔ Strong expertise in QA/QC practices, inspection procedures, and testing protocols.
✔ Deep knowledge of construction materials, site supervision, and quality control techniques
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ACONEX, QMIS, and Primavera for documentation & reporting.
✔ Certified QA/QC Engineer with extensive experience in material verification and compliance audits
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for quality issue resolution.
✔ Excellent coordination and communication abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams .
