We are seeking a highly organized and creative Interior Designer & Project Lead to oversee the end-to-end transformation of a villa. This role combines aesthetic vision with rigorous project management. You will be responsible for the initial design concepts, material specifications, vendor procurement, and on-site oversight to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Space Planning
Develop comprehensive design concepts, including floor plans, 3D renderings, and mood boards.
Create detailed technical drawings (lighting plans, electrical layouts, and cabinetry elevations).
Conduct site measurements and feasibility assessments.
2. Material Selection & Curation
Select all interior finishes, including flooring, wall treatments, hardware, and lighting fixtures.
Source furniture, textiles, and decorative accessories that align with the project’s aesthetic and durability requirements.
Provide physical samples for approval (swatches, stone off-cuts, paint draw-downs).
3. Procurement & Logistics
Manage the entire purchasing process: requesting quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking shipments.
Negotiate pricing with vendors and manage trade accounts to ensure cost-efficiency.
Inspect all delivered goods for quality and damage before installation.
4. Project Management & Oversight
Act as the primary point of contact between the client, contractors, and specialized trades (plumbers, electricians, carpenters).
Develop and maintain a strict project timeline and budget tracker.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction aligns with design specifications and solve real-time structural or aesthetic challenges.
