Role: Cable Assembly Technician (Soldering & Crimping)
Location: Dammam (Face to Face Interview)
Local Transfer (Tanazul)
Department: Production
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform cable cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, ferruling, and termination as per approved drawings and BOM.
* Carry out precision soldering and assembly of D-Sub connectors, FRC connectors, and multicore cable assemblies used in automation
panels.
* Read and accurately interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and technical datasheets.
* Select appropriate lugs, connectors, terminals, ferrules, heat shrink sleeves, and related accessories as per specifications.
* Ensure correct crimping using calibrated tools and maintain crimp pull-force and quality standards.
* Conduct continuity testing, insulation checks, and basic functional testing of cable assemblies.
* Maintain workmanship standards in line with IPC and industry best practices.
* Adhere strictly to 5S methodology and safety guidelines in the production area.
* Identify defects, perform rework where necessary, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
* ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
* 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Cable assembly, Soldering, and Crimping Operations.
* Good understanding of wire gauges, shielding, grounding practices, and connector types.
* Ability to work with precision tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
