Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Indian Kerala and Philippine dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area following health and safety regulations.
Assist in menu planning and development to introduce new dishes and specials.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock control.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Adhere to portion control and presentation standards.
Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Cook specializing in Indian Kerala and Philippine cuisines.
Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients used in both cuisines.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Culinary certification or relevant training.
