*Check heat numbers, markings, and ensure traceability.
*Ensure materials are properly stored and handled no rust, damage, or contamination.
Verify joint preparation before welding bevel angle, root gap, alignment, cleanliness.
Ensure WPS Welding Procedure Specification, PQR, and Welder Qualification are followed.
Monitor welding parameters, interpass temperature, and weld appearance during welding.
*Verify the orientation, elevation, and alignment of installed spools.
*Check flange alignment, bolt hole orientation, and pipe slope as per drawings.
*Confirm that pipe supports, hangers, and guides are installed as per standard requirements.
*Review test packages, system boundaries, and ensure calibration certificates are valid.
*Check test water quality (pH and chloride content).
*Verify pressure gauges, vent/drain locations, and safety arrangements.
*Witness pressure tests and record test results and acceptance criteria.
*Conduct post-test inspection drying, reinstatement, line cleaning.
