Elevator Electrical Engineer designs, installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control systems, wiring, motors, and safety circuits for lifts and escalators. They interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot malfunctions, calibrate control systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Testing: Install electrical components, wiring, PCB cards, motors, and control panels; conduct start-up, adjustments, and safety testing for new equipment.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose, and fix electrical faults in lift systems, including power supply, lighting, and sensor issues.
Technical Compliance: Read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure systems meet safety standards and regulations.
Emergency Response: Respond to breakdown call-outs, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform emergency repairs to restore service.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, service, and safety inspections.
