Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to support our industrial services operations, including hydraulic system design, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance, and field execution for onshore and offshore projects. The role involves working closely with project teams, clients, and technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of hydraulic services.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Technical
• Design and review hydraulic systems, circuits, and layouts for industrial applications (skids, rigs, manifolds, test systems, lubrication and flushing systems, etc.).
• Perform calculations for pressure, flow, power, and sizing of pumps, valves, accumulators, hoses, piping, and actuators.
• Prepare hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, datasheets, and technical documentation.
• Select suitable hydraulic components based on pressure, temperature, fluid type, and project requirements.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and performance testing activities.
Field & Operations Support
• Supervise hydraulic system installation, flushing, testing, and commissioning at site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system failures and performance issues.
• Support shutdown, maintenance, and emergency repair activities.
• Ensure proper cleanliness levels (NAS/ISO), contamination control, and oil management practices.
Project & Client Coordination
• Interface with clients, inspectors, and third-party agencies (DNV, SGS, Aramco, etc.).
• Provide technical input for proposals, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Support project planning, manpower estimation, and equipment selection.
• Prepare technical reports, test certificates, and handover documentation.


Quality, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (API, ASME, ISO, OEM standards, client specifications).
• Follow company HSE procedures and participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Ensure safe handling of high-pressure hydraulic systems and equipment.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Hydraulic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in hydraulic systems within industrial services, oil & gas, or heavy engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic power units (HPUs), pumps, accumulators, valves, manifolds, high-pressure hoses, tubing, filtration, and oil cleanliness standards.
• Experience in field commissioning and troubleshooting is mandatory.

Technical Skills
• Hydraulic circuit design and analysis
• P&ID and schematic preparation (AutoCAD preferred)
• Pressure testing and system commissioning
• Oil flushing and contamination control
• Standards: API, ASME, ISO 4406, NAS 1638
• MS Office (Excel, Word, reports and calculations)

Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Good communication with clients and site teams
• Ability to work under pressure during shutdowns and critical operations
• Willingness to travel to project sites
