Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Baggage Handling System (BHS) electrical and
control equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, sensors, and control circuits, minimizing downtime and
improving baggage flow efficiency.
• Carry out motor control wiring, Star-Delta starter connections, and three-phase motor troubleshooting
for baggage conveyor systems.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical panels (MDB, SDB, ATS, SEDB, Power Panels) associated with
BHS operations.
• Use electrical test equipment (voltmeter, megger, ohmmeter, ammeter) for accurate fault diagnosis
and performance verification.
• Monitor system performance, identify recurrent issues, and implement corrective actions to enhance
operational reliability.
• Ensure all Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities are completed on schedule and in
compliance with operational standards.
• Follow strict safety procedures and OSHA guidelines while performing maintenance on electrical
systems.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of all maintenance and troubleshooting activities
for operational records.
• Collaborate with the O&M team to support continuous system improvements and reduce baggage
handling disruptions.
