I am a Quantity Surveyor holding a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering in Sri Lanka. I have over six years of experience in Quantity Surveying, including four years of post-contract experience in Bahrain and two years in Sri Lanka.
My areas of expertise include:
• Reviewing subcontract’s payment application based on the actual progress and preparing payment certification for the sub-contractor
• Reviewing subcontractor’s variation request, negotiate with subcontractor to finalize the variation work
• Maintaining subcontractor’s payment log and variation log
• Taking off quantities by using AutoCAD, Plan Swift & Civil3D
• Preparing rate analysis and rate build‐up for Variation’s new item
• Administrating Sub contract packages
• Checking the approval of MIR and delivery note for material on‐site payment
