We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior HVAC Supervisor to oversee our field operations and project estimation. This is a critical leadership role that requires a unique blend of deep "hands-on" technical expertise, project management skills, and commercial acumen in the local market.
The ideal candidate will have transitioned from a master technician to a supervisor, possessing the ability to both execute complex repairs and accurately forecast project costs.
Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Supervision & Quality Assurance
Technical Authority: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance across residential and commercial systems (Split, Ducted, VRF, and Package units).
On-Site Leadership: Supervise technician teams to ensure all work adheres to international engineering standards and safety protocols.
Problem Solving: Provide immediate technical solutions for on-site challenges that exceed the scope of standard technician training.
2. Project Estimation & Site Surveys
Pre-Project Surveys: Conduct comprehensive site inspections to determine project requirements, equipment specifications, and potential structural challenges.
Cost Estimation: Develop detailed BoQs (Bill of Quantities) including labor hours, specialized tools, and material costs.
Profitability Analysis: Ensure project estimates are competitive yet maintain healthy profit margins for the company.
3. Operational Management
a). Resource Allocation: Schedule and manage the daily deployment of technicians and assistants to maximize productivity.
b). Project Lifecycle Oversight: Monitor projects from the initial inquiry phase through to final commissioning and client handover.
c). Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site progress, material usage, and technician performance reports.
4. Procurement & Local Sourcing
a). Vendor Management: Utilize extensive knowledge of the local HVAC market to source high-quality components and units at the best possible price points.
b). Inventory Control: Ensure necessary materials are ordered and delivered to sites on time to avoid project delays.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the HVAC industry, with at least 3 years in Saudi.
Technical Mastery: Full proficiency in reading blue-prints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of local HVAC suppliers, regional pricing trends, and equipment availability.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage diverse teams and maintain high morale under tight deadlines.
Licensing: A valid driver's license is mandatory for frequent site visits.
