Job Summary
The Electrical Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all electrical installation activities at the project site. The role ensures that electrical works are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision
• Supervise daily electrical works (cable laying, conduit installation, panel installation, lighting systems, grounding, etc.).
• Assign tasks to electricians and helpers.
• Monitor manpower productivity and daily progress.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings.
2. Installation & Execution
• Oversee installation of LV/MV systems, switchgear, panels, and transformers.
• Supervise cable pulling, termination, and testing.
• Ensure proper routing, labeling, and identification of cables.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams.
3. Testing & Commissioning
• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing and continuity checks.
• Support system energization under engineer supervision.
4. Safety Compliance
• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks.
• Enforce use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Report hazards immediately.
5. Quality Control
• Inspect completed works before submission.
• Ensure installations meet specifications and local codes.
• Report technical issues to Electrical Engineer.
6. Materials & Tools Management
• Monitor electrical material usage.
• Request materials as per schedule.
• Ensure proper handling of tools and testing equipment.

Qualifications
• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of site experience in electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
