Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the rotating machinery and sealing solutions industry. This role involves designing sealing products, creating engineering drawings, performing R&D and testing, and supporting product development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create design layouts, assembly drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Develop bills of materials and ensure adherence to ASME Y14 standards, including GD&T.
• Initiate engineering changes and update design documentation accordingly.
• Perform FEA stress analysis and mechanical load calculations.
• Assist in R&D and testing of sealing products; evaluate prototypes and alternative designs.
• Use CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for structural design and model development.
• Program CNC mills using MasterCAM or Partmaker.
• Interact with customers to understand requirements and provide design solutions.
• Research design modifications to improve product performance.
Requirements:
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in rotating machinery or seals preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, but SolidWorks is mandatory).
• Experience in industrial/high-tech product design and development.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and product applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
