Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Installation and Configuration: Mounting cameras, and related security devices according to technical specifications, and safety codes.
• Wiring and Cabling: Running, terminating, and testing low-voltage wiring (e.g., Cat5e/6, coaxial) and ensuring proper cable management on mobile equipment.
• System Integration: Networking IP cameras, configuring mobile video recording systems, and ensuring compatibility with 4G LTE/GPS systems for remote monitoring.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing technical faults, such as connection issues, power supply problems, or camera malfunctions on-site.
• Maintenance: Performing regular inspections, cleaning lenses, and updating firmware to ensure functionality in harsh environments.
• Documentation: Completing work orders, technical reports, and inventory logs accurately.
• Training: Instructing operators and site management on the proper use of the surveillance systems.
