Role Purpose
The QC Manager is the functional leader for project quality and ensures that all construction activities, including bridges, underpasses, flyovers, road structures, and civil infrastructure, comply with approved drawings, specifications, and the Project Quality Plan. 12
They lead the QA/QC team, enforce “Do it right the first time” culture, and represent the organization professionally in front of clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and auditors. 2
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management & Compliance
Implement, monitor, and improve the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and all QA/QC procedures across infrastructure works. 1
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements as applicable. 3
Oversee preparation and approval of method statements, ITPs, quality forms, NCRs, and corrective actions. 14
Review QC documentation for procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. 4
2. Inspection & Testing Oversight
Ensure all inspections and tests (materials, structural works, concrete, steel, roads, bridges) are executed as per project requirements. 15
Verify that WIRs/RFIs, lab tests, and field tests are completed, documented, and approved. 4
3. Leadership & Team Coordination
Manage QC Engineers, Inspectors, Materials/Lab Engineers and ensure sufficient resources on site. 12
Provide quality training, coaching, and leadership to maintain zero-backlog inspections. 6
4. Auditing & Certification
Lead internal audits and oversee third‑party audits.
Evaluate QMS effectiveness, initiate improvements, and close audit findings. 73

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 3

15+ years total experience, with minimum 5+ years in construction quality management for large-scale infrastructure. 3
