Duties and Responsibilities
Drive heavy trucks to transport goods according to approved trip plans.
Ensure the safety and security of cargo during loading and unloading.
Conduct daily inspections of the truck before operation (tires, brakes, oil, fuel, etc.).
Comply with traffic laws and instructions issued by relevant authorities.
Maintain the truck’s cleanliness and ensure periodic maintenance.
Deliver and collect shipment documents such as delivery notes and shipping documents.
Maintain continuous communication with the fleet controller or management regarding trip status.
Immediately report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delivery delays.
Adhere to trip schedules and delivery timelines.
Safeguard company property and ensure the safety of transported goods.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks.
Good knowledge of roads within the Kingdom and between cities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle long-distance trips.
Commitment to transportation regulations and safety procedures.
