Senior Purchaser - Supermarkets

The Senior Purchaser – Supermarkets will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of products for supermarket operations. The role ensures timely procurement, competitive pricing, and maintaining optimal inventory levels while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing and quality.

Manage purchasing of supermarket products including FMCG, food, and non-food items.

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors.

Analyze sales trends and demand to plan purchasing effectively.

Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and finance teams regarding orders and deliveries.

Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.

Any other task within the domain of the job or as instructed by the management.
