Technical Interior & Exhibition Designer

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Company: Jazaaco Ventures

Role Overview
We are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Designer to join our production team. This is not just a conceptual role; you will be responsible for taking projects from initial 3D visualization to final production-ready technical drawings. You will bridge the gap between creative design and our carpentry and fit-out workshops.

Key Responsibilities
3D Visualization: Create high-quality renders for exhibition booths, retail store fit-outs, and interior renovations to help clients visualize the final product.

2D Technical Drafting: Produce precise floor plans, elevations, and sectional drawings for on-site execution.

Production Preparation: Generate "cutting files" (DXF/DWG) for CNC routing and laser cutting, ensuring material efficiency and accuracy.

Material Selection: Select and specify wood finishes, metals, acrylics, and signage materials that align with the budget and durability requirements.

On-Site Coordination: Occasionally visit sites to take measurements and ensure that the production team is following the design specifications.

Technical Skills & Requirements
The ideal candidate must be proficient in the following:

3D Modeling: 3ds Max (with V-Ray/Corona), SketchUp, or Rhino.

2D Drafting: Mastery of AutoCAD for technical fit-out drawings.

Production Logic: Experience creating files for carpentry (joinery details) and signage (vector files for plotters/CNC).

Graphic Design: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) for signage and branding integration.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with exhibition materials (MDF, Octanorm, tension fabric) and interior renovation standards.

Preferred Qualifications
A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design.

2+ years of experience in a production house or fit-out firm.

Ability to work under tight deadlines (especially for exhibition projects).
