We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership abilities, creativity in the kitchen, and the capability to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high performance.
Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock ordering, and control food costs.
Support menu planning, development, and recipe standardization.
Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff, including new hires.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Assist in achieving kitchen performance targets and operational goals.
Handle kitchen issues and communicate effectively with management.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management.
✅ Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a restaurant or F&B environment is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
