Surface Preparation Inspection
• Verify surface cleanliness before coating (free from rust, oil, dust, moisture)
• Check blasting standard (e.g., Sa 2.5 / SSPC-SP10)

Coating Application Control

Duties & Responsibilities:
INSPECTION:
• Inspection of Paint Stores at site to ensure that it is in line with the recommendation of Paint Manufacturer.
• Inspection of QC instruments to ensure that those are in good working conditions.
• Verifying calibration status of MMD's (Measuring & Monitoring Devices) pertaining to Painting & Coating
works.
• Inspection of Blast Abrasive to ensure that it is specified/approved material.
• Inspection of Paint materials to ensure that those are specified/approved materials.
