Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract (Tendering & Estimating)
• Prepare, review, and analyze electrical Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions specific to
Saudi Aramco projects.
• Conduct site visits to assess electrical scope, existing conditions, and potential logistical challenges.
• Liaise with electrical engineering teams to clarify design specifications and scope of work.
• Identify and quantify electrical risks for contract conditions.

Post-Contract (Project Execution)

• Manage all post-contract quantity surveying duties including the preparation of sub-contractor
payments and certification of interim valuations.
• Prepare and submit monthly invoices and payment applications.
• Manage Variation Orders (VOs).
• Prepare Quantity Variation Reports (QVRs) and liaise with client teams for approval.
• Forecast final costs and analyze cost variances between budget and actual expenditure.
Claims & Commercial Management
• Prepare and substantiate electrical claims (delay claims, disruption, etc.) with proper documentation
as per Saudi Aramco contract requirements.
• Manage the final account agreement with clients, ensuring all electrical works are reconciled.
• Ensure all electrical material reconciliations are accurately tracked against approved material take-offs
(MTOs).

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure strict adherence to Saudi Aramco’s General Instructions (GIs) , engineering standards (SAES),
and materials system specifications (SAMSS).
• Verify that electrical material purchases align with the approved vendor list and budget.
• Collaborate with stores and logistics teams to monitor electrical material receipt and wastage.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Professional Certification (e.g., MRICS, SCE) is highly preferred.
Experience:
• Total Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying/Contract Management
within the construction industry.
• Specific Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor specifically in
Saudi Aramco Maintain Potential Projects.
Technical Skills:
• Expert knowledge of Saudi Aramco Cost Engineering procedures and Contracting manuals.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for complex quantity take-offs and cost tracking.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams, cable schedules, and layout drawings.
• Familiarity with Aramco approved vendor lists for electrical materials.
Soft Skills & Certifications:
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills (English is mandatory; Arabic is a plus).
• Must have a valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on audit compliance and contractual obligations.
