Core Infrastructure Management: Install, rack, configure, and maintain physical enterprise hardware (Dell/HPE), storage solutions (SAN/NAS), and virtualization layers (VMware ESXi or Hyper-V).
Cloud Operations & Migration: Provision and manage resources in AWS and Microsoft Azure, including VPC/VNet configuration, IAM/Active Directory integration, and VM lifecycle management.
Hybrid Connectivity: Manage the "bridge" between local and cloud environments (VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute) to ensure seamless data synchronization and low-latency performance.
System Health & Maintenance: Stay ahead of the curve with proactive patching, firmware updates, and 24/7 performance monitoring to minimize unplanned downtime.
Data Protection & Recovery: Own the backup strategy. Implement and test disaster recovery (DR) protocols across both on-site and cloud environments to guarantee business continuity.
Technical Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering.
Hardware: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, and enterprise storage (NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.).
OS/Virtualization: Windows Server 2019/2022, Ubuntu/RHEL, VMware, or Hyper-V.
Cloud: Foundational certifications (AWS SysOps, Azure Administrator) are a major plus.
Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Firewalls.
