🎯 Job Purpose
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all logistics operations across the project, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and workforce to support construction activities without delays, congestion, or cost overruns.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Planning & Strategy
Develop and implement a comprehensive project logistics plan
Define:
Material delivery strategies
Laydown areas & storage plans
Site traffic management systems
Align logistics with construction schedule and sequencing
🚢 2. Supply Chain & Transportation
Manage:
International shipping & freight forwarding
Port handling & customs clearance (KSA regulations)
Coordinate inland transportation, including:
Heavy/oversized loads
Specialized equipment delivery
🏗️ 3. Site Logistics Management
Oversee:
On-site material handling
Tower crane & hoist logistics coordination
Workforce and equipment movement
Ensure smooth operations across multi-tower / multi-zone construction areas
📦 4. Warehousing & Inventory Control
Establish and manage:
Warehousing systems
Inventory tracking processes
Ensure availability of materials aligned with just-in-time delivery strategy
📅 5. Integration with Construction & Procurement
Work closely with:
Construction teams
Procurement teams
Contractors & subcontractors
Ensure materials are delivered on time, in sequence, and per project needs
⚠️ 6. Risk Management
Identify and mitigate risks such as:
Delayed shipments
Port congestion
Material shortages
Develop contingency plans to avoid project disruption

Monitor and control logistics budget
Optimize:
Transportation costs

Demurrage and detention charges
🧾 8. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with:
Saudi customs regulations
HSE requirements
Manage all logistics documentation:
Shipping documents
Permits for oversized transport
👥 9. Stakeholder Coordination
Interface with:
Contractors & subcontractors
Suppliers & logistics providers
Government authorities
Lead logistics coordination meetings
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
Supply Chain Management
Logistics
Civil Engineering or related field
🧠 Experience
15+ years in logistics management
Proven experience in large-scale construction or mega projects
Experience in projects with organizations like:
NEOM
Red Sea Global (preferred)
🛠️ Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of:
Construction logistics planning
Supply chain management
Proficiency in:
SAP
Oracle Primavera
Familiarity with logistics tracking systems and dashboards
