Job Title: Dispatcher / Fleet Coordinator

Reports To: Operations Manager
2. Job Purpose

To coordinate and manage fleet movements and drivers to ensure efficient transport operations, adherence to schedules, and optimal fleet utilization, while identifying new clients to increase sales and secure new operational contracts.

3. Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare daily vehicle dispatch schedules.
Assign routes and tasks to drivers according to operational plans.
Monitor fleet movement in real-time to ensure adherence to schedules.
Coordinate with clients regarding delivery and pickup schedules.
Report vehicle breakdowns to the maintenance department.
Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
Monitor fuel consumption and optimize operational efficiency.
Use GPS tracking systems to monitor the fleet and manage resources.
Resolve operational issues promptly to avoid delivery delays.
Identify new clients and expand the customer base.
Secure new transport contracts and increase sales of refrigerated transport services.
Follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and continued cooperation.
4. Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Transportation.
2–5 years of experience in transportation or fleet management.
Knowledge of GPS fleet tracking systems.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
