We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our contracting company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting health and safety awareness among employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on site
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards
Provide safety training and toolbox talks to employees
Prepare and maintain safety reports and documentation
Investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction or contracting companies
Good knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Relevant safety certifications are preferred
Ability to work under pressure and handle site conditions
Additional Information:
The candidate must pass a technical/practical test before hiring
Possibility to work under the Ajeer contract system after successfully passing the test
