Position: Estimation Manager / Senior Engineer
Job Purpose:

To lead and manage project estimation activities, ensuring accurate cost planning, tender submission, and commercial viability of projects while coordinating with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the estimation team and guide senior/junior engineers in preparing cost estimates.
Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
Conduct risk analysis, value engineering, and cost optimization for projects.
Evaluate and coordinate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for clients.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for data accuracy.
Ensure compliance with client standards (e.g., ARAMCO), company policies, and safety regulations.
Participate in client meetings, clarifications, and negotiations.
Maintain and update cost databases, historical project data, and lessons learned.
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical)
Certification in Cost Engineering, Estimation, or Project Management is preferred
Experience:
Senior Engineer: Minimum 5–8 years in estimation in Oil & Gas / Construction projects.
Estimation Manager: Minimum 10–15 years, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
Experience in ARAMCO projects is highly desirable.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering
Proficient in estimation software and MS Excel
Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
Good understanding of contracts, commercial terms, and risk analysis
Ability to handle multiple tenders and deadlines
Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
