Roles and Responsibility
The following are the mani roles and responsibilities of Rigger level 3:-
• Perform safe rigging and lifting operations as per approved lifting plans and site procedures.
• Inspect and select suitable lifting equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and chains before use.
• Calculate load weight, balance, and center of gravity to ensure safe lifting.
• Follow Permit to Work (PTW) and site safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with crane operators using hand signals and radio communication.
• Identify lifting hazards and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Assist in preparing rigging plans and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Conduct pre-use inspection of lifting gear and ensure proper tagging and color coding.
• Support lifting supervisors during critical lifts and heavy lifting operations.
