We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Chef with strong knowledge of all sections of Indian cuisine.
Strong Tandoor & Naan skills are a priority.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian restaurants.
* Excellent experience in Tandoor & Naan.
* Able to independently operate a Tandoor oven.
* Skilled in Naan, Roti & Indian Breads.
* Strong experience in Chicken & Mutton Biryani / Dum Biryani.
* Excellent knowledge of Indian Curries & Masala dishes.
* Skilled in Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Kebabs & Grill.
* Able to prepare dishes such as Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Dal Tadka and other popular Indian dishes.
* Good knowledge of Marination, Gravies & Masala preparation.
* Able to maintain consistent taste, quality and portion size.
* Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy hours.
Very Important
The candidate must be able to organize and coordinate kitchen orders during busy service hours.
He should be able to coordinate between:
Tandoor • Naan • Biryani • Curry • Masala • Preparation
and ensure that all items for each order are prepared and served together, on time, and with consistent quality.
Restaurant management experience is NOT required.
We are looking for a hands-on chef and strong kitchen team leader who can cook, organize the kitchen team, coordinate orders and handle pressure.
