Role Overview:
A Senior Accountant in Bahrain usually manages core financial and accounting duties to ensure accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and reporting. Most roles expect good practical experience (often 3–6+ years) and ability to join soon.

Common Responsibilities Include:

Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Managing general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, AP/AR.
Overseeing month‑end and year‑end closing processes and reporting accuracy.
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/local) and VAT/tax reporting.
Coordinating with auditors and external stakeholders for audit reviews.
Supporting budgeting, forecasts, financial planning and cash flow management.
Supervising accounting tasks and ensuring internal controls.
Qualifications Often Required:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
