We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven MEP & HVAC Operations Manager to
lead, oversee, and optimize all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and HVAC operations
across multiple projects and business units.
This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, project delivery efficiency, cost
control, quality compliance, and business growth across industrial, commercial, and
infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, leadership capability, and commercial
acumen to drive performance, enforce governance, and scale operations in alignment with
organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management & Execution Excellence:
• Lead end-to-end execution of MEP and HVAC works across multiple concurrent projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per specifications
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
• Monitor site activities, resource utilization, and workflow optimization
• Establish standardized processes for project execution and reporting
2. Project Planning, Monitoring & Control:
• Oversee project planning including scope definition, scheduling, and resource
allocation
• Ensure adherence to approved project timelines and milestones
• Conduct regular progress reviews and resolve bottlenecks proactively
• Implement project tracking tools, dashboards, and MIS reporting systems
• Coordinate with planning teams for baseline and revised schedules
3. Technical Leadership (MEP & HVAC Systems):
• Provide expert guidance on:
o HVAC system design, installation, testing & commissioning
o Electrical systems (LV/MV), load calculations, and distribution
o Plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems
• Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IEC, etc.)
• Drive value engineering and optimization initiatives
4. Commercial & Financial Management:
• Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and profitability
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and control cost overruns
• Review and approve procurement plans, vendor selections, and subcontractor
agreements.
• Support tendering and bidding processes with technical and commercial inputs
• Ensure proper billing, revenue recognition, and variation order management
5. Procurement, Vendor & Contract Management:
• Oversee procurement of MEP/HVAC materials and equipment
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and authority matrix
• Evaluate and manage subcontractors and vendors
• Negotiate contracts and ensure performance delivery
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure timely deliveries
6. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and project specifications
• Implement and monitor ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and compliance checks
• Ensure proper documentation, testing, and commissioning protocols
• Drive continuous improvement in quality processes
7. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
• Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies and procedures
• Promote a strong safety culture across all sites
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international safety standards
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety audits
• Minimize incidents and ensure safe project execution
8. Team Leadership & Workforce Management:
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams including engineers, supervisors, and
technicians
• Drive accountability, discipline, and performance culture
• Conduct performance evaluations and training programs
• Ensure optimal manpower planning and deployment
• Mentor and develop high-potential talent
9. Stakeholder & Client Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on operational matters
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and relationship management
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
• Attend project meetings and present progress updates
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution
10. Business Development & Strategic Growth:
• Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities
• Contribute to prequalification, technical proposals, and capability presentations
• Build strong market intelligence and industry relationships
• Identify opportunities for expansion in MEP/HVAC segments
• Enhance company positioning with key clients (e.g., ARAMCO, SABIC, MAADEN)
11. Systems, Reporting & Digital Transformation:
• Drive ERP implementation and utilization for MEP operations
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting (daily, weekly, monthly MIS)
• Implement digital tools for tracking, monitoring, and performance analysis
• Improve data-driven decision-making across operations

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or related field
• Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
• 10–15+ years of experience in MEP/HVAC operations
• Proven track record in managing large-scale industrial/commercial projects
• Experience in GCC/KSA market preferred
• Exposure to clients such as ARAMCO, SABIC, MAADEN is highly desirable
