• Review and implement project specifications, ITPs, and approved drawings for CP and OHPL
works.
• Inspect installation of CP systems (anode beds, rectifiers, test stations, cabling, and bonding).
• Verify erection and stringing of OHPL works including poles, cross-arms, insulators, and
conductors.
• Monitor testing and commissioning of CP systems (energization, potential measurements,
continuity checks).
• Witness OHPL electrical tests (megger, Hi-Pot, continuity, sag & tension checks).
• Inspect materials (rectifiers, cables, insulators, conductors, poles, etc.) for compliance with
standards.
• Ensure calibration and proper use of electrical test instruments.
• Prepare inspection reports, checklists, and raise NCRs for nonconforming works.
• Coordinate with construction teams, client representatives, and third-party inspectors for
approvals.
• Enforce compliance with Aramco standards, SAES, SATIP, and safety requirements at site.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Must have previous Saudi Aramco project experience in CP and OHPL works.
• Must hold valid or previously approved Aramco SAP / ID as Electrical QC Inspector.
• Must have passed Aramco CBT (Computer Based Test) for Electrical QC Inspector category.
• Minimum 7–10 years total experience in electrical works inspection.
• At least 3–5 years in Cathodic Protection and Overhead Power Line projects.
• Proven track record in QA/QC inspections, testing, and commissioning of CP and OHPL systems.
• Strong knowledge of Aramco standards (SAES, SATIP, SAIC, SAMSS).
• Proficient in electrical inspection, documentation, and reporting.
• Familiar with CP system testing (rectifier, anode bed, continuity, potential surveys).
• Familiar with OHPL testing (megger, Hi-Pot, sag/tension, continuity checks).
• Strong communication skills in English (technical reporting) – Arabic is an advantage.
