We are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Representative to join our growing freight forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering customized logistics solutions across air, sea, and land freight. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients navigating international shipping — bringing expertise, reliability, and a consultative approach to every deal.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients in need of freight forwarding services (air, ocean, road)
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing accounts through regular follow-up and service reviews
- Prepare and present competitive freight quotations and proposals tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Stay current on market trends, carrier rates, and industry regulations
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Solid understanding of international shipping modes (FCL/LCL, airfreight, road freight)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Familiarity with customs procedures, and freight documentation
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
