Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (EPC Projects – Billing Support)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to support EPC project execution with a
primary focus on quantity take-off, reconciliation, and billing coordination. The role
involves ensuring alignment between drawings, executed quantities, and client claims,
while supporting the billing department for accurate invoicing and cost control.

Key Responsibilities
1. Quantity Take-off & Verification
∙Review IFC/Approved drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quantity
take-offs.
∙Verify quantities executed at site with respect to approved drawings and as built
drawings.
∙Maintain updated records of BOQ vs executed quantities.
2. Quantity Reconciliation
∙Perform reconciliation between:
oDrawing quantities (BOQ)
oExecuted site quantities
oClient claimed quantities (RA Bills/JCR)
∙Identify and report variations, deviations, and missing scope.
∙Coordinate with site engineers to validate discrepancies.
3. Billing Support
∙Assist billing team in preparation of:
oRunning Account (RA) Bills / Interim Payment Certificates
oJoint Measurement Records (JMR/JCR)
∙Ensure all billed quantities are backed by measurements and approvals.
∙Track billing status and support timely submission to client.
4. Coordination & Documentation
∙Liaise with:
oPlanning team (for progress alignment)

oSite execution team (for actual quantities)
oContracts/Commercial team (for variations & claims)
∙Maintain proper documentation of:
oMeasurement sheets
oApproved drawings
oBilling records
5. Variation & Claims Support
∙Identify additional/extra works not covered in BOQ.
∙Support preparation of variation orders and claims with quantity backup.
∙Assist in cost impact analysis for scope changes.
6. Reporting
∙Prepare periodic reports on:
oQuantity reconciliation status
oBilling progress vs execution
oVariance analysis (Planned vs Executed vs Billed)

Required Qualifications
∙Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (as applicable)
∙3–8 years of experience in EPC projects (Oil & Gas / Power / Infrastructure /
Solar)

Key Skills
∙Strong knowledge of:
oBOQ preparation and measurement standards
oEPC project lifecycle
∙Proficiency in:
oExcel (advanced)
oQuantity take-off tools like CADMATE / AutoCAD (preferred).
oERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or project tools like PRONTO/EIP – added
advantage)
∙Good understanding of:
oContracts & billing procedures
oSite execution practices

Key Competencies
∙High attention to detail
∙Analytical and reconciliation skills
∙Strong coordination and communication ability
∙Ability to work under tight billing deadlines

Preferred Experience
∙Experience in solar / power plant EPC projects
∙Exposure to JCR, RA billing, and client certification processes
∙Experience working closely with planning & billing departments
