Job Summary:
The Mechanical Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to mechanical works in construction projects. This includes estimation, cost control, contract administration, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical works (HVAC, piping, firefighting, plumbing).
• Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications to identify project requirements.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders and subcontractor quotations.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Handle variation orders and claims (both client and subcontractors).
• Verify and certify subcontractor bills and progress payments.
• Assist in preparation of interim payment applications and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with project team (engineering, procurement, and site team).
• Maintain proper documentation for all commercial activities.
• Must have interest in costing estimation.
• Must have good understanding of drawing reading & AutoCAD as well.
• Good knowledge of Excel spread sheet.

Qualifications:
• DAE Mechanical
• Certification in Quantity Surveying (preferred).

Experience:
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in mechanical QS role.
• Experience in construction / EPC / MEP projects is preferred.
• Gulf experience is an advantage.
