🔥 Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Fighting Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in designing, supervising, and commissioning fire protection systems in compliance with Saudi building codes and international standards. The ideal candidate will support project execution, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
• Prepare and review fire protection system designs including:
o Fire sprinkler systems
o Fire hydrant and hose reel systems
o FM-200, CO₂, NOVEC, and other clean agent systems
o Fire pumps and associated piping
• Develop hydraulic calculations using industry-standard software.
• Ensure designs comply with:
o Saudi Building Code (SBC)
o Civil Defense requirements
o NFPA standards
Project Execution & Supervision
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to approved drawings.
• Coordinate with MEP teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
Compliance & Documentation
• Prepare technical reports, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
• Support Civil Defense approval processes and attend inspections.
• Ensure all fire protection systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Testing & Commissioning
• Perform system testing: pressure tests, pump performance tests, alarm integration, etc.
• Verify system functionality and prepare commissioning reports.

🎓 Qualifications & Skills
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
Experience
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in fire protection engineering within Saudi Arabia.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and SBC requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is an advantage.
• Experience with hydraulic calculation software (e.g., Elite, HASS).
• Understanding of fire alarm system integration (coordination with ELV teams).
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• NFPA certification (CFPS or equivalent) – preferred
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
