Gold Production Jewellery Manager

- Job Summary:
The Production Jewellery Manager oversees the end-to-end manufacturing process of jewellery pieces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, efficient production timelines, and cost-effective operations. This role coordinates with design, sourcing, and quality teams to deliver finished products that meet brand standards and customer expectations.

- Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and sales demands
Coordinate with design and sales teams to prioritize orders

- Manufacturing Oversight:
Supervise jewellery production processes including handmade jewellery, casting, stone setting, polishing, and finishing.
Ensure all products meet design specifications and quality standards

- Team Management
Lead and manage craftsmen, artisans, and production staff
Train team members on techniques, safety, and quality expectations
Quality Control
Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures
Inspect finished pieces for defects, accuracy, and durability

- Material & Inventory Management:
Oversee procurement and usage of raw materials (gold, silver, gemstones, etc.)
Monitor inventory levels and reduce waste
Cost Management
Control production costs while maintaining quality

- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
Liaise with external vendors for components, stones, and outsourced work
Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance

- Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
Maintain ethical sourcing standards
Required Qualifications

- Manufacturing, Business, or related field (preferred)
Proven experience in jewellery production or manufacturing management
Strong knowledge of jewellery-making processes (handmade, casting, CAD/CAM, setting, finishing)
Experience managing teams in a workshop or factory setting
