I am writing to apply for the position of Accounts Assistant. I bring over three years of accounting experience, including two years in Pakistan and one year in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I am currently working in Accounts Payable and pursuing a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance, which strengthens my theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
In my current role, I handle accounts payable processes, including recording and verifying invoices, preparing journal entries, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. I also have hands-on experience using Odoo accounting software for daily financial operations.
My key responsibilities include:
Recording and processing supplier invoices and payments in the system
Preparing and posting journal entries with accuracy
Reconciling accounts payable ledgers and resolving discrepancies
Managing vendor accounts and maintaining proper documentation
Assisting in monthly closing and financial reporting
Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial procedures
