Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automobile Mechanic to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines, transmissions, and differentials for a variety of vehicles, including cars, buses (Ashok Leyland), and light trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform overhauling of engines, transmissions, and differentials
2. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
3. Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles
4. Ensure all work is completed efficiently and meets safety standards
5. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
6. Work on a wide range of vehicles including cars, buses, and light trucks.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an automobile mechanic in a workshop environment
2. Strong knowledge of engine, transmission, and differential systems
3. Experience working with buses (Ashok Leyland) and light trucks is preferred
4. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults effectively
5. Good understanding of safety procedures and workshop practices
