Government Relations Officer – Tasks & Responsibilities
• Liaise with government authorities
Coordinate and communicate with government entities and portals such as the Saudi Business Center, GOSI, QIWA, MUQEEM, and other regulatory bodies.
• Process government transactions
Handle all official documentation, including:
o Residency permits (Iqama issuance, renewal, transfer)
o Visas (work, exit/re-entry, final exit)
o Work permits and labor cards
o Company licenses and registrations
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Ensure the company complies with all local laws, labor regulations, and government requirements.
• Manage government portals
Administer and maintain company accounts on government platforms such as Qiwa, Muqeem, Absher Business, Balady, and MOC portals.
• Support HR and administration
Work closely with HR on employment-related matters, including Saudization, onboarding, contracts, and employee records.
• Maintain records and reporting
Keep accurate records of all government transactions and prepare periodic status reports.
• Track renewals and deadlines
Monitor expiry dates for visas, licenses, and permits to avoid penalties or service suspension.
