Danway Saudi Arabia Contracting Company is urgently seeking a highly experienced senior electrical purchase engineer for leading end‑to‑end procurement activities for electrical systems and materials for multiple EPC projects, ensuring timely sourcing, cost efficiency, and full compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Project Types: Electrical Substations, Power & Desalination Plants, Metal Industry, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Electro?-Mechanical, Water Transmission Scheme and Sewage Treatment Plants, Renewable Energy.
Requirements:
- The candidate should possess 10–15 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 3 years in 132kV substation projects.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are available to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic procurement functions including planning, sourcing, supplier relationship management, commercial negotiations, resource allocation, inventory oversight, supply chain coordination, contract administration, and materials management to ensure cost‑effective and timely project delivery.
• Handling procurement of materials (local and imported), including inquiries, preparation of comparative statements, and issuance of PO/WO to vendors.
• Responsible for major equipment, including GIS, transformers, switchgear, capacitor banks, LVAC panels, DC systems, CCTV, cables, and cable trays.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and SAP systems for procurement planning, documentation, reporting, and workflow execution with strong hands‑on proficiency.
• Preparation, review, and issuance of purchase agreements and subcontract agreements.
• Responsible for daily updating and maintenance of records in the SAP system.
