Field Site Engineers (I&C) – Non-Western

Qualification & Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control engineering.
 Approved by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
 Minimum 8 years of related experience in large power projects and synchronous condenser projects.
 Strong background in construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of I&C systems.
 Proficient in MS Office and Management Information Systems (MIS).
 Excellent English communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
 Supervise construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of I&C systems and equipment to ensure full compliance with EPC contract requirements.

 Review EPC contractor’s drawings, documents, work plans, and schedules for instrumentation and control systems.

 Monitor site activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards.

 Witness testing and commissioning activities, including reliability runs and performance testing.

 Verify and approve pre-commissioning checklists, I&C calibration records, and test results.

 Support project QA/QC and ensure compliance with method statements and ITPs.

 Advise the owner (SEC) on I&C-related technical issues during construction and commissioning.

 Participate in progress meetings, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and highlight deviations or corrective actions.

 Coordinate with the EPC contractor, design team, and other discipline engineers for technical resolutions.

 Review and ensure compliance with international standards and codes such as IEC, ISA, NFPA, NEC, API, and Saudi Grid Code.
