SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate must be locally available in Bahrain and ready for immediate joining. You will be the first point of contact for technical support, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
Respond to service requests via phone, email, or ticketing system
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
Maintain accurate records of incidents and service requests
Support users with password resets, account setup, and access issues
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Requirements
Must be locally available in Bahrain
Immediate joiners preferred
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
1–3 years of experience in IT support or service desk role
Knowledge of:
Windows OS and Microsoft Office 365
Active Directory and basic networking
ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving attitude
Preferred Skills
Experience in corporate IT environments
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL (preferred but not mandatory)
