We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to support our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate must be locally available in Bahrain and ready for immediate joining. This role involves assisting in maintaining servers, networks, and ensuring system reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, systems, and networks
Monitor system performance and ensure availability of IT infrastructure
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights (Active Directory)
Perform routine system backups and recovery operations
Support patch management, updates, and security configurations
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
Assist in implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Coordinate with vendors and senior IT staff when required
Requirements
Must be locally available in Bahrain
Immediate joiners preferred
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
1–2 years of experience in system administration or IT support
Basic knowledge of:
Windows Server and/or Linux systems
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V is a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or Linux+
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus)
Understanding of cybersecurity basics
