We are looking for a Design Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV projects, specifically ground-mounted systems up to 50 MW. The candidate should be capable of handling full system design, optimization, and supporting commercial proposals and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize ground-mounted solar PV systems (up to 50 MW)
Prepare layouts, SLDs, and detailed engineering calculations
Perform energy yield analysis using PVSyst
Support tendering activities, including BOQ preparation and review
Contribute to commercial proposals with cost optimization
Review tender documents and ensure compliance
Coordinate with procurement and commercial teams
Evaluate vendor technical submissions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5–7 years of relevant experience in solar PV design
Experience in utility-scale ground-mounted projects
Proficiency in PVSyst, AutoCAD, PVcase or similar tools
Experience in tendering and BOQ preparation
Good understanding of grid integration and electrical systems
Preferred:
Experience in KSA or Middle East projects
Knowledge of IEC standards
Exposure to EPC projects
