Tendering Engineer – Solar PV

Job Description:
We are seeking a Tendering Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in solar PV projects, preferably utility-scale and ground-mounted systems. The role involves preparation of technical and commercial proposals, cost estimation, and full support during tendering and bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare technical and commercial proposals for solar PV projects
Review tender documents, specifications, and client requirements
Develop and validate BOQs, cost estimates, and pricing models
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams
Support design team for optimized and cost-effective solutions
Conduct vendor evaluations and obtain quotations
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies during bidding
Ensure full compliance with tender requirements and submission timelines

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5–7 years of experience in solar PV tendering or proposal engineering
Strong experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and bid submission
Good understanding of solar PV systems (utility-scale preferred)
Familiarity with EPC contracts and tendering processes
Strong analytical and commercial skills

Preferred:

Experience in KSA or Middle East projects
Knowledge of local regulations and grid requirements
Exposure to large-scale solar projects (10 MW – 50 MW or above)
