DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following process systems are involved in the Projects, have depth knowledge and
expertise of working with these systems.
VALVE TESTING
ï‚· Verification of Valve datasheet, MTC, Vendor test reports and receiving
inspection documents prior to testing.
ï‚· Visual inspection of valves prior to test.
ï‚· Witnessing and Inspection of valve tests Such as shell test, closure seat test
and back seat test, DBB test and DIB test of Manual mechanical valves,
MOV, ON OFF valves and Control valves.
ï‚· Inspection of the retest of test rejected valves.
ï‚· Inspection of retest of the valves exceeded long-term storage after test.
ï‚· Inspection of storage and preservation of valves.
ï‚· Maintaining log for valve test, preservation and long-term storage of valves.
ï‚· Initiating INCR for the test rejected valves, coordinating with vendors
regarding repair and retesting process, maintaining tracking sheet for
rejected valves and its status.
ï‚· Ensure the valve testing, storage and preservation is full filling the
requirements of API 598, API 6D, ISO 5208, SAES-L-108, 04-
SAMSS-035,048,003, SAEP-35…etc.
PIPING
ï‚· Verification of isometric drawing with respect to P& ID
ï‚· Preparing RFI and Inspection reports.
ï‚· Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents.
ï‚· Piping materials receiving inspection including valves, spools, flanges,
gaskets…etc. Checking the material specification, grade, schedule,
dimension, orientation…etc.
 Inspection of received materials storage (valves, spools, flanges, gaskets…etc.)
ï‚· Spool release inspection before painting and after painting.
ï‚· Inspection of the fit up for root gap, bevel angle, internal misalignment, and
spool identification, internal cleaning, damages.
ï‚· Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions during installation of
piping.
ï‚· Witness of alignment, orientation and dimensions of installed piping.Â
ï‚· Witnessing of Flange joint assembly and bolt torque.
ï‚· Installation of supporting system
ï‚· Inspection of valves and other equipment installation.
ï‚· Gasket installation inspection.
ï‚·
Inspection of bolt torque of flanges, Expansion bellow, valves, pump, Flow
meter, supports…. etc.
ï‚· Raising NCR for the quality violation by construction team and follow-up to
close the issues.
ï‚· Preparation and review of test package.
ï‚· line checking prior to pressure test and punch listing.
ï‚· Clearance of punch A items prior to pressure test.
