Duties and Responsibilities of Civil Inspector QA/QC:
Ensure that all the inspection and testing activities are being carried out as per
client specification, approved IFC Drawing, ITP, Checklist and Applicable
international standard and Procedures.
Site inspection for Earthwork & concrete work, Masonry, Rebar, Formwork and
Architecture activities.
Material and incoming material inspection of the received items as per Standards.
To Raising RFI's and arrange Inspection with Client Quality Control Representative
for all.
Review and approval of technical queries received from contractors.
Ensures that project construction activities are conducted in accordance with
project quality system.
Reviewing the construction method statements and making comments per project
specifications, procedures & ITPs.
Attending weekly & monthly progress meeting with client & subcontractor.
Implements and ensure the effective QA/QC programmed to meet assigned project
requirements.
Orient, assign, and supervise QC Civil team for monitoring the on-going daily
construction activities.
Coordination with Civil testing agencies/batching plants for in time delivery of
concretes and subsequent inspection & testing requirements.
Ensuring the availability of civil Inspector during any operations.
Performed root-cause analysis using different quality tools and proposed
Corrective & Preventive actions.
Coordination with Client's inspection department for getting the feedback for open
logbook entries and preparations of corrective actions to close those violations.
Emphasizing on the control of documents and records by advising the document
controllers, QC Inspectors.
Review Vendor/Sub-Contractor/Supplier Contracts w.r.t. Acceptance Procedures,
Quality Control and standards conformance.
Direct inspection and testing procedures and analyze quality concerns identified.
Ensure that corrective action plans are initiated monitored and management
appraised of significant quality issues and progress.
Ensured that all planned projects were completed according to timelines,
approved budgets, quality protocols and HSE standards.
Land Measurement & Mapping Conduct initial surveys, measure land features, set
boundaries and create detailed site plans and reports.
Design Support: Provide data to architects and engineers for design, and mark
precise locations for structures.
Site Monitoring: Continuously monitor the site, ensuring construction aligns with
approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure work adheres to building codes, regulations, and
safety standards, advising on issues.
Technical Guidance: Offer technical advice and resolve discrepancies during
construction.
